I decided I should give something not baby related. When it comes to design I have a sweet spot in my heart for kitchens. This first kitchen has so many features I love- high ceilings, exposed beams, natural light and a huge island.

I wish I had the space and the cups, plates and vases to make this work in my house. I don’t think it would stay this organized and cheery for very long but it sure is fun to dream.
What do you think of the yellow ceiling in this kitchen? If this color was on the walls I imagine I would go crazy, but on the ceiling it works. Every time I see this kitchen I think blue, waves and stainless steel. Can you imagine installing all that tile and on curved walls?? It does look striking though. Stay tuned, next week is going to be ALL about kitchens!

I want to be this organized so that I can have single shelf like this and my kitchen will still look clean and cool. With matching plates and bowls and cool colorful accessories. And bright cabinets with stainless steel drawer pulls and maybe the stainless steel countertops or butcher block.
