I have this love affair with windows. I love natural light and seeing outside. This living room is awesome, the clerestory windows give height and drama. There is no need for any other focal point because the windows speak for the room.

I found this great house over at Chictip. It’s called the Jigsaw Residence for its unique construction that resembles a 3-D puzzle, and was designed by architect David Jameson in Maryland. “Set around an open-air courtyard and flanked by terraces on both ends, the modern structure has the look of multiple building blocks in varying […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
This house is crazy, you don’t see cantilevers and huge windows every day! This home was designed by the amazing and talented Dane Designs Australia. He took advantage of the amazing views and layout of the home to make sure every room reached its best design potential.

What does one do with an empty old cathedral?? Well in The Netherlands people are turning abandoned churches in to their home, it’s called re-use or re-purpose. What do you think of these windows?? I very interesting take on architecture for sure, I can’t decide if I like them. If this was my house (or anyone who actually lives in this house) it wouldn’t stay this white for very long but it is very cool to look at and I would love to live in […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
I need this bathroom! The hexagon tiles shimmer, the shower has natural light, the roman shade in a geometric pattern, the huge soaking tub, the gray blue color on the wall, the large mirror leaning up against the wall, I could go on but I think you get the drift. This bathroom is simple and […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
This house make me go Mmmmmmm! I will probably never live in a contemporary modern house like this but I can dream. Oh wait it gets better… there is a river all around the living room with a waterfall into the pool below, how cool! And look at all those windows, not good for privacy […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
I think I could spend more time in this shower then I should. I love the windows and the big bench and the rain fall shower head that drops from the ceiling. I think a few wall mounted shower heads would be nice. I also like the weaved tile on the floor. It might be […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
