I have this love affair with windows. I love natural light and seeing outside. This living room is awesome, the clerestory windows give height and drama. There is no need for any other focal point because the windows speak for the room.

I know my blog has been overtaken by baby stuff and color theory lately so I figured I would give you some design to drool over. I found this amazing artwork on Pinterest and then delved further to find the creator and see some more work, I also find a post at Apartment Therapy.
Here are some great office. I like them for all different reasons, hopefully you can find some you like for your own reasons! I love the modern simplistic feel of this office. I love the desk top, I want it really really REALLY bad.
I would love this office! I have been working on finishing my office, it is not nearly this cool but it works and I love how functional it turned out. I also have 2 windows in it so I get a little of the natural light I crave. I know I have been very sporadic […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
I found this great house over at Chictip. It’s called the Jigsaw Residence for its unique construction that resembles a 3-D puzzle, and was designed by architect David Jameson in Maryland. “Set around an open-air courtyard and flanked by terraces on both ends, the modern structure has the look of multiple building blocks in varying […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

This 13,000 sq. ft. house is the first in the US to get LEED certified and Green Point Rated, in other words this house is “Green”. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this term “green” is it a movement […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
This house is crazy, you don’t see cantilevers and huge windows every day! This home was designed by the amazing and talented Dane Designs Australia. He took advantage of the amazing views and layout of the home to make sure every room reached its best design potential.

That is what I love about design – the ability to love and live and build memories in […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…

I have always wanted a metal door with horizontal windows, but they are so expensive! The light turquoise blue corrugated siding draws attention to the […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
What do you think of this room? To me it is really calm and serene, I love white furniture even though it isn’t practical but I think white leather is better than white fabric. I love the light blue/gray wall color and the dark pewter gray ceiling with the thick white trim. The ceiling has […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
