Welcome to my blog!  I have been blogging for 2 years and I decided it was time to get serious.  I’ve turned blog a real website.  Ever since I was a little girl, I loved to draw floorplans and dream of houses I would design.  If you talk to most designers they will tell you they were always rearranging their bedroom and their friends rooms.  They might even tell you how they drove their moms crazy when they kept trying to rearrange all the living spaces.  Or how they loved being involved in all their parent’s remodeling projects and help make the important decisions like paint color and artwork placement on the walls.  These designers might also tell you how they  absorb and critique every building they walk in to, how they determine their favorite restaurant by the decor not the food!  You will  also see that their  house is a working canvas and is a continually changing space.

There is a desire to see more and create more that designers possess. They can peruse decor stores or home improvement centers or the internet for hours looking for new ideas and inspiration.  It’s not just a passing hobby it is our PASSION!  We live for design, for creating a space that is beautiful and inspiring.  Our main reason is to give people a home they love to come home to, a home that creates memories and builds relationships.  This is my passion;  I hope to inspire, educate and  guide you to create a space and home you will love.

Design can be full of expensive accessories and larger than life homes but I believe it has more to do with surrounding yourself with things you love!  There is nothing better than finding a piece of artwork that speaks to me or a unique accessory that I can envision the perfect space for it in my home.  I believe that what we surround ourselves with will uplift us and even if we don’t consciously realize exactly what brings on this change our lives are better and we are happier in our homes.
