It’s my girls first birthday and I have been planning on making her cake for years, haha. Some of you may remember when I took a cake decorating class a few years ago. Her birthday party theme was just the colors pink and yellow. I’m not a fan of characters and such and since she is too little to know or care what her birthday theme was I thought cute and fun was appropriate (I know I have years of character birthday themed parties ahead of me). So here’s the cake. I love how it turn out and even better everyone loved how it tasted! I also made the little smash cake for Felicity to eat, I like how they coordinated but weren’t the same design.
One of my favorite parts of the cake was the cute banner over the top, I think it was the cherry on top if you will.
